Terms of service

Using ledgerstack.dev — the site and the live demo — means agreeing to these terms. They cover two things: using this site, and buying the LedgerStack codebase. If you disagree with them, the demo is the thing to not sign up for.

The demo is this exact codebase running live so you can evaluate it. It is provided as-is, for evaluation: demo credits are play money with no monetary value, Stripe runs in test mode, and accounts, organizations and balances may be rate-limited, capped, reset or removed as part of operating a public demonstration. Do not use the demo as infrastructure for anything real.

Do not attack it. We adversarially test this system ourselves and publish how — that is not an invitation. Probing other people's accounts, attempting to bypass rate limits or CAPTCHAs, farming credits across accounts, or using the demo to send abuse gets an account suspended without ceremony.

The purchase is a one-time fee for access to a private repository containing the complete application. Payment is processed by Polar (polar.sh), the checkout provider linked from the pricing page; your agreement about payment itself is with them. Delivery is a GitHub invitation to the repository, sent to the GitHub account you connect after purchase.

The license, plainly. You may use the code to build and ship any number of your own products, commercial or not, modified however you like. You may not resell, republish or redistribute the kit itself — packaging it as your own starter kit, boilerplate, template or course material is the one use the license does not grant. One purchase covers you and the team working on your products. Client work is a product of yours: when you hand a finished application to a client, they and their developers may run, maintain and extend that application without a license of their own. What they may not do is the same thing you may not — start new products from the kit itself.

Refunds. 14 days, no questions asked. Ask at claygeo6@gmail.com or through the checkout provider. Code cannot be returned, which is exactly why the demo exists — evaluate before you buy, and the refund window backstops you after.

The code is tested the way the site describes, and the claims on these pages are measured against the codebase. That is the promise. Beyond it, the software and the demo are provided as is, without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Money-handling code carries risk; the test suite reduces it and does not abolish it, and shipping it in your product is your engineering decision.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the site, the demo or the kit is capped at what you paid for the kit — and zero if you paid nothing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stands. If the terms change, the date above changes with them. Questions: claygeo6@gmail.com.
